Research Area

As the leader of Rice Stress Physiology Research Group, his research work is mainly engaged in the following three aspects:

(1) Rice stress physiology and regulation. Through suffer stress on rice growth and development, analysis is focused on the organ development and rice yield response to adversity stress signal, and establishment on assessing technical platform for stress breeding and cultivation.

(2) Study of pollution from rice production and its control. By analysis the pollution from traditional rice cultivation, the research is focusing on rice cultivation techniques towards environmental safety, labor saving and farmer beneficial.

(3) Bio and Chemical control of rice growth and development. Research work is focusing on releasing a simple, convenient, practical and environmental safety technology in rice production; trying to deal with problems as weak rice seedling in machinery transplantation, pre-mature senescence, lodging and weed damage.
