    Zhang Jianping, a weed scientist, received her BSc degree in Food Engineering (1996) from Jiangnan University, China, her MSc degree in Microbiology (2005) from Nankai University, China and her PhD in Agricultural Microbiology (2012) from the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), China.

    Zhu Defeng received his BSc degree (1982) in Agronomy from Zhejiang Agricultural University, China; MCS degree (1986) in Agronomy from Nanjing Agricultural University, China and his PhD degree (2000) in Agronomy from Nanjing Agricultural University, China.

    Zhu Li, a plant geneticist, received her BSc and MSc degree in Agronomy (2001), Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (2004) from the Shanxi Agriculture University, China respectively and her PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (2007) from the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), China.
