African agriculture experts visit CNRRI

On June 9th, 15 experts and officials from 10 African countries (Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Mali, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Zambia, Mozambique and Malawi) and the World Bank visited China National Rice Research Institute (CNRRI) in Hangzhou, Southeast China.

CNRRI’s experts visit India to investigate the status ofhybrid rice

During April 8th-12th, responding to the invitation of Indian Branch of Rice Science and Technology Company of U.S.A, CNRRI’s Deputy Director General Hu peisong led experts in rice genetic breeding, seed production and such to pay a visit to India, initiating investigations and technology exchange.

CNRRI experts visit Kenya

China National Rice Research Institute (CNRRI) delegation headed by Dr. Cheng Shihua (the Director General of CNRRI), visited Kenya from November 24th to 30th, 2013.

Director General Chen Zhong of Zhejiang Province Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs visits CNRRI

November 27th, 2013

On November 26th, Chen Zhong, Director General of Zhejiang Province Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs paid a visit to CNRRI, along with provincial and municipal staff led by directors in charge. Deputy Director General Dr. Hu Peisong rolled out the welcome mat, and expressed thanks for their long-term support to the institute.
